• Only 2-3 kg weight loss but visibly more toned body
• Fixed posture, abdominal, knee and back pain
• Recti diastasis postpartum much improved
She came to me last year in November. She wanted to fix her abs separation (recti diastasis) which occurred after giving birth to her beautiful son. Other goals were fixing her posture, fixing her knee pain and also her sporadic lower back pain. On top of these things, Alis wanted to embrace a healthier lifestyle but also get a more toned body. It’s important to mention that she never wanted to achieve any sports performance so the focus for her was improving her health and getting fit.
As you can see in this picture her posture is noticeably corrected, her abdominal protrusion is almost entirely fixed, her knee and lower back pain are both gone and she also got a toned body by building some extra muscle mass. It’s important to notice that the weight difference between these 2 pictures is only of 2-3 kg.
This result was achieved through sleepless nights and along with all the challenges and the chaotic life that a mom knows very well. For this reason, I am proud and happy and I think this awesome lady deserves a big applause. The thing that I personally love the most is that Alis has fallen in love with fitness and she can’t even imagine her life anymore without it! And that is my real satisfaction of all. I could tell you so many amazing things that happened since Alis joined my team but I will sum it up to one thing that happened yesterday during our training session.
Yesterday Alis looked me in the eyes and said:”I don’t say this easily but you really changed my life!” She goes on and says “It’s not only the transformation of my body but everything. The words you told me, the things you thought me… I will miss you when all this ends!”
There is no better reward for me as a Coach. Everything I do, it’s to hear those words at the end and see her smile! And that gave me so much power and courage to keep on doing what I’m doing, to keep on prioritizing health overlooks for the people that I’m working with and to not listen to the naysayers in this industry.
I’ve chosen an industry that makes the most of its money by selling on people’s insecurities. Sometimes it’s hard to walk this road alone and not give in to what the industry is asking for.
When I decided to become a Coach, I wanted only one thing. To make a difference in people’s lives! Thank you, Alis, for allowing me to do that!
There is one thing that almost made me cry on our last training session togethert. She told me she went to the park with her son and shehad an epiphany as realized that she can exercise everywhere.
For mothers it can be challenging sometimes to find the time and energy to exercise. Which is why I suggested to her to try to find opportunities in her day-to-day life. You don’t necessarily need a gym or some weights to be able to get in the daily amount of physical activity. You can literally do it ANYWHERE!
Alis started incorporating squats while playing with her son, she has started jogging while going on a walk with him and she is literally discovering the infinite number of possibilities in which you can move.
I’m proud that I was your Coach and grateful that I met such a powerful and amazing woman!
This is my true joy as a Coach but this thing isn’t easy to achieve. Sometimes I need to challenge people’s views about certain things and change is never comfortable.
To get people to understand that movement is literally in EVERYTHING WE DO and there is really NO EXCUSE is the hardest thing to do and not many trainers go down that road because few Coaches are ready to put at risk their fees by challenging their clients views.
But I do that! Because I’m my eyes a 3 month transformation isn’t worth the effort unless that person can stay healthy and fit for the rest of his/her life not just for 3 months.
I do not strive to change bodies. I want to change lives!
